Proper attire lets the instructor see the students' body alignment to help give them corrections.  

Recreational Classes

What to Wear

Dance Classes:

  • Students should wear tights, a leotard of their choosing, and the appropriate shoes for each dance class.

  • All hair should be pulled back out of their face, and no jewelry or watches for safety purposes. 

    *If there is a special request for a dress code requirement for your dancer, please email the studio to get written approval to wear something outside of dress code.

Tumbling Classes:

  • Students should wear a leotard and footless, transition, or stirrup tights or other tight fitting clothing - please have bare feet for tumbling classes. 

  • All hair should be pulled back out of their face, and no jewelry or watches for safety purposes.  

Shoes:

  • Tots Classes: pink ballet shoes and black patent leather tap shoes (velcro, ribbon, or buckle closures are all acceptable)

  • Preps Classes: pink ballet shoes, tan slip-on jazz shoes, tan buckle tap shoes

  • Pre-teen & Teen Classes: pink ballet shoes, tan slip-on jazz shoes, black oxford-style tap shoes with laces 

  • All Tumbling & Acro Classes: bare feet

  • All Hip Hop Classes: clean, dry sneakers that do not get worn outside
